Getting Started
1. Install
Find StockTwin on the Shopify App Store, click Add app, and approve the permissions. The app opens inside your Shopify admin — no separate login, no separate dashboard.
2. Your first scan
Click Discover Duplicates in the top right of the dashboard. StockTwin scans your catalog and groups every variant that shares a SKU. This usually takes under a minute.
Once it finishes, the dashboard shows:
Total Groups — sets of variants StockTwin is watching.
Enabled — how many are actively syncing.
Discrepancies — groups where variants currently disagree on stock.
After this first scan, you don't need to click Discover again under normal use. StockTwin picks up new products automatically.
3. Fix a discrepancy in 10 seconds
Click the Discrepancies card on the dashboard. You'll see only the out-of-sync groups.
Pick a group and click Sync.
StockTwin sets every variant in the group to the most recently updated quantity.
